Currently, I live in London and love it here, but I was born and raised in Norway. Moving around a lot to the most rural of places, there weren't many opportunities for acting and I had absolute stage fright when it came to singing but I still loved both. I knew nothing of musical theater for most of my life, but I remember being obsessed with the actor's studio from the age of 10 or 11 (which looking back now I admit probably made me a strange kid). As I got older and started learning about my voice and getting a handle on my stage fright, I ended up saying yes to every opportunity that presented itself which meant I got to try on almost every genre you can think of, so now when people ask where I "fit in" vocally I always find it very difficult to answer since I didn't have one starting point or one interest or influence, I can do a lot of different things and I love the freedom, and so when I discovered musical theater it was where I needed to be, because finally being a bit of a chameleon made sense, and every day it shows itself to be a better fit for someone like me that always wants to try something new.
